April Holiday Update
It’s time to turn our mind towards the April Holidays and what awaits us in term 2.
Firstly, daylight savings ends on the 2nd of April, so don’t be alarmed if your tutoring lesson happens an hour later than you were expecting!
Our tutors are putting together their holiday availabilities as we speak, and it’s a good time for parents and students to start thinking about whether they want tutoring over the break. The April school holidays are April 8th - 23rd (though your school may vary slightly). We will be reaching out to parents to form holiday plans for each student in the next couple of weeks.
The onset of term 2 also means that winter sport is just around the corner! We know this often means a schedule shake up so let us know as early as possible if you need to change your session time to accommodate new training and competition schedules.
For many students, mid-year exams lurk in the first couple of weeks of term 2. Discuss holiday study plans with your tutor if you plan on taking a break from tutoring, or book extra sessions if you plan to knuckle down! At the end of the day, a balance of study, rest, and fun is very important and we want to support you in finding that balance however we can.
Lastly, for our mighty year 12s, Term 2 is a very busy time between major works and preparing for HSC Trials. It’ll soon be time to start on your study strategy for trials and the ever-tricky job of balancing current tasks with revising past topics. You’ll be astonished by how much you’ve learned over the past year! Your tutor can help you with this.
To all our students and families, thanks for joining us in 2023!
