Katya, who started tutoring when she was in Year 12, has extensive experience tutoring students of all ages and learning abilities, with an enthusiastic interest in working with neurodivergent and developmentally affected students. 

Katya is known for her patience, warmth, adaptable teaching style and incorporation of sensory experiences into learning. Engaging with a curriculum designed for neurotypical students was challenging, but with fiery persistence Katya has formulated a teaching and study strategy which appeals not just to neurotypical students, but also specifically to students with ADHD and autism. After making it into UNSW Double Law with these strategies herself, she is proud to have helped her students into law degrees at ANU and other universities. Her extensive experience with UAC’s EAS has proven invaluable to other students who wish to maximise the outcome of their applications.
