Chemistry

“I was captured for life by chemistry and by crystals”

Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin

Once the work of alchemists and magicians, the study of chemistry has been requisite to almost all advances of modern technology.

Chemistry is a huge field with so many applications that students are often overwhelmed by the amount of content they are required to learn. Classes combine practical skills with calculation and graphing, and teachers often don’t have the ability to back-track for struggling students. Tutoring can allow students to ask their burning questions and address weaknesses that are holding them back.

Chemicals are everything: the nutrients in our food, the signals in our brains, the power in our batteries. Chemistry allows us to learn and change the makeup of the world around us.
